What is worth losing sleep over? There are so many reasons we might not get enough sleep: working long hours, seeking quiet in the night, spending time with friends, or just being unable to sleep despite the many attempts.
Sleep is important. We can’t function without it, and we can shut down if we don’t sleep enough. Yet we sacrifice our sleep for other things all the time. That sacrifice has become so normal that it can be expected, no matter the detrimental effects to our health.
